Born and grown up in Annaberg in the
Erzgebirge he received his training of building of organs in Bautzen at
the Eule company. After a preceding two-year carpenter education,
he was employed from 1973 to 1992 in Bautzen. In the autumn 1992 he moved
with his wife and his two children to Schiltach, Black Forest.
From then on he worked at the organ building company Georges Heintz within
all ranges of the building of organs. Main emphasis of his activity was
on the production of metal pipes and the intonation.
