Organ builder Heintz

Following the tradition of our house, we still prefer the massif timber construction method. Sufficient place before the workshop makes the storing of many years of our woods for us possible. We use only native, even select woods (oak and white fir) except for completely few exceptions for manufacturing keyboards and keyboard cheeks (ebony, Grenadill, Palisander).

It is rather unusual that an enterprise in our size possesses its own metal pipes workshop, and we manufacture there metal whistles to 8 ' length including prospect pipes.

Until today 201 organs of most different size and register number were built in the organ building workplace Heintz. We have built organs starting from 2 registers exercise organ up to 58 registers and 4 manuals in catholic church of St. Stefan of Konstanz. Major clients are from within Germany (from Konstanz to Flensburg). Also abroad people enjoy organs of Heintz. So for example in Portugal, Austria and Finland.

It is our philosophy to take over long-proven from past times of the building of organs, to refine and further develop and improve.

Differently than my predecessor, we are open today for all systems and ready on this widespread area to further develop ourselves and to apply these new developments. Each new building, each restoration and each cleaning are gladly accepted by our highly qualified and motivated coworkers and will be implemented professionally. From regard of sound we feel obliged to the "South-German elsassian Silbermann tradition" and would like to maintain these also further. Each new organ to be built is a renewed challenge for us, to which we place ourselves with much expert knowledge, projecting ability and devotion.
